When you submit a track through our submission form, we collect: your artist/band name, email address, city/country, a short bio, a photo, your social and support links, the track details you provide (title, Bandcamp link, genre, "sounds like" references), and — if given — a live performance link and who referred you.
To review your submission, publish your artist page if approved, contact you about the status of your submission, and — with your consent, given at submission time — to promote the platform and your inclusion on it across our own channels (Instagram, X/Twitter, website, newsletter).
Submissions are stored in a database on our own server. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. Your photo is stored on the same server and, if your track is approved, becomes publicly visible on your artist page.
Bandcamp: we embed a link to your existing Bandcamp page — we don't host audio ourselves. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or built in collaboration with Bandcamp.
Cloudflare Turnstile: our submission form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to filter out automated spam. Turnstile may process your IP address and browser data per Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Analytics: we may use privacy-respecting analytics (e.g. Plausible or Google Analytics) to understand traffic to the site. No personally identifying submission data is shared with an analytics provider.
You can ask us to remove your profile and track at any time — email shockoutbandage@gmail.com. We handle removal requests within 5 business days. Note that anything already shared publicly (e.g. a social media post we made before your removal request) can't be un-published retroactively, only stopped going forward.
